Video and Image Supported Files

Hi,

My name is Roger. I would like to inquire about WOW Vista(Solo Edition) supported files e.g

Video: mp4,wmv,mpeg,avi,flv..(other files format that can be supported?)
Image: png,jpeg,gif..(other files format?)

Also,
Cat5e & Cat6 network cables can transmit data files for about 100meter.What cables or solutions suitable for a high tall rising building with digital signage(WOW Vista)?example: distance more than 500 meter? Fiber Optic?use switches as repeater?

Thanks for contacting WOW Support.

Our player supports almost all media formats along with HTML URL.

Solo edition is just for a single screen usage so as such LAN / WAN does not come really into the picture. While other solutions we have i.e. Zone and Omni uses LAN features to control multiple screen from a single location.

In terms of distance you have to use LAN Switch / Router to increase the distance. You can go in for Fibre Optic line from one building to another and then have a Switch to cater local LAN.
